On June 1st, we held The Social Media Exchange for Cultural and Heritage Sectors, focusing on helping those working in the cultural and heritage sectors to gain a better understanding of of social media and how it can benefit them and their organisation.
During the day, delegates were shown how to take advantage of podcasting, Twitter, Flickr, blogging and lots more besides. They were encouraged to raise question, debate and discuss issues and to consider which type of social media would best suit their organisation.
During the day, we spoke to the delegates and masterclass leaders about their thoughts on social media, and the day as a whole.
